Left Unsaid

A Grand Comeback from the Asia Tour – The Hit Show Returns This September

A Star-studded Cast Featuring Cecilia Yip, Kenny Wong
A Single Accident, Nine Relationships – Brace Yourself for the Uncanny

Adapted from the original play Left Unsaid by Nick Yu Rong-Jun, Artistic Director of the Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre, National First-Class Playwright

Many things in life are better left unsaid.

The story begins with a neurosurgeon and his neurologist wife, who cannot communicate with each other but converse every moment of the day. One day, the visit of an old school friend reveals a secret in the family. Among lies, envy and alienation, what unspeakable secrets are hidden? Could the truth be told? Or is it better “left unsaid”?

Nine relationships among four characters — living a run-of-the-mill life or life has run out of options. It’s real yet surreal.

Left Unsaid is a challenging act for performers. Pulling it off was a testament to the bonding of the four performers. The performance truly captivates me.”
    – Gordon Lam Ka-Tung, Hong Kong Film Awards Best Actor

“A very smooth adaptation—I loved the playwright’s portrayal of the marital relationship, with many sharp and witty lines. It’s both clever and entertaining! A great watch!”
    –  Anthony Chan, Director Laureate of Hong Kong Repertory Theatre

“Cecilia Yip’s performance is highly refined. She masterfully portrays distinct emotional layers in different situations, allowing the audience to deeply feel the character’s struggle between love and loss.
Kenny Wong intricately captures the inner conflict of the husband’s role, gradually revealing the frustration and helplessness of a man facing life’s challenges.”
