From 1980 to 1981, Danny Yung’s “Journey to the East” series was performed at the Hong Kong Arts Centre with four themes: Ideogram, story, question, and morphology, which later developed into six creative elements: body, sound, space, technology, symbol, and structure. Zuni’s “Creative Playground” youth art education project is based on these six creative elements, and develops the basic skills course of experimental theatre. Starting from knowing oneself, knowing theatre, knowing cultural exchange and dialogue, and learning theatre creative process.

In 2022, Danny Yung was invited by the National Taichung Theater to hold a series of ten episodes of interdisciplinary creative lectures “Danny Yung look at the Theatre” on “Digital Academy: WOW Art”, combining the four themes of Journey to the East Series and six creative elements , discussing , commenting, and deconstructing Danny Yung’s ten experimental theater works/series, which is a creative approach of experimental theater and a method of cultivating critical thinking and empathy.
