Karena Lam

Hong Kong actress and curator. As an actress, Karena Lam was awarded Best New Performer and Best Supporting Actress in both the Hong Kong Film Award and Golden Horse Award in 2002 for her debut film July Rhapsody. Other cinematic appearances in which she played a lead role include Inner Senses (2002), Home Sweet Home (2005), Claustrophobia (2008), and Heaven In The Dark (2016). With a number of nominations for Best Actress in the Hong Kong Film Award, Lam has won Best Leading Actress in the Golden Horse Award for Zinnia Flower, making her the first actress who has earned Best New Performer, Best Supporting Actress, and Best Leading Actress. As an art enthusiast, she has been the ambassador of Le French May since 2013. As a curator, she curated Japanese calligrapher Yuchi Inoue’s “Hana by Yuchi Inoue” and Japanese artist Watanabe Mayumi’s “Send in the Clowns” exhibitions.
