A renowned Taiwanese musician, writer on fashion and cultural observation, as well as a film composer and art director. Formerly taught at the Department of Music of Fu Jen Catholic University, and contributed personal culture and lifestyle columns to 《Elle》 and 《Surface》 magazines. Also hosted the weekly cultural interview radio programme “Taipei Deep Breathing” on Taipei Broadcasting Station.
Her musical publications include the Golden Horse Awards 30th Anniversary Commemorative Album and the Nine Artists Creative Album Series. Her solo albums Hand Kiss and Andante as Blessing were both nominated for Best Instrumental Album at the Golden Melody Awards.
Her translated works include First-Hand Accounts of Classical Masters, while her audiobook works include The Confusions of Young Törless. Her books Style Is a Necessary Belief and Walking to the Left Bank were published by Crown Publishing Group.
Her film music and art direction works include Yi Yi and The Drifter, both directed by Edward Yang and produced by Kailidoscope.
