Joseph Chan has been a film producer, a manager and a veteran of the film industry. With over 40 years of experience in the entertainment industry, he was once the general manager for Paciwood Music & Entertainment, the artist agent for pop icons Leon Lai, Michelle Reis, Aarif Rahman, Janice Man, Janice Vidal, etc.
He was Associate Producer of Days of Being Wild (1990) (directed by Wong Kar-wai), Farewell China (1990) (directed by Clara Law) and 92 Legendary La Rose Noire (1992) (directed by Jeff Lau); Executive Producer and Producer of Leaving Me, Loving You (2004) (directed by Wilson Yip), Frozen (2010) (directed by Derek Kwok), Girls Without Tomorrow (1988), Women Prison (1988), Forever Young (1989), Fatal Vacation (1990), and Run (1994). Also, he served as a consultant for The Great Detective (2019) and Dynasty Warriors (2021). In 2019, as the director-general, he directed a series of crossover creations for the 65th anniversary of the Cantonese opera classic Floral Princess.
