Graduated from the Department of Drama at Taiwan University of Arts, Huang Ren-jie has collaborated with theatre companies both domestically and internationally, touring in many cities across Asia. Beyond theatre, he has also participated in video shooting and voice acting, and have worked as a narrator for Mirror Voice.
He continues to explore different performance mediums, moving between them, searching for various possibilities of imagination. He also enjoys walking and discovering the unexpected in life, allowing himself s to slow down to miss less. He’s fascinated by the romantic folly of accomplishing something together with the power of many. Recent works include: Edward Lam Dance Theatre’s The Visit: Art School Musical 2.0, NJ’s Journey to Atami, and 14 Variations on the Theme of Yi Yi; Our Theatre’s Ghost Town, Daguan Festival x Yukio Shiba’s Three Plays on the Path to Hope; Ju Chen Production’s Hello Marriage, Goodbye Love; Mirror Voice’s Taipei Story etc.
