Cheer Chen with a distinctive cultural style in her works and concepts, many say that she is not just a singer, but an artist, a quiet actionist.
During her university period, she sang on campuses, on bridges, in the subways, beside the Kenting shore, in live houses and bookstores. In 2005, she initiated a series of experimental concerts, and held more than a hundred concerts around Asia attracting an audience of over a million.
From selling DIY demos beside the sea to being the first female Chinese singer-songwriter standing on the stage of Taipei Arena, Cheer Chen uses her unique, calm and unhurried pace to become a spiritual guide for contemporary young people.
