One Hundred Years of Solitude uses abstract and experimental staging techniques to combine reality and poetry, going through continuous life with ups and downs. For specified actions like “pointing” and “looking”, has become classic motifs of the Zuni Icosahedron theatre.
The basic action vocabulary seems to be simple and day-to-day, in the performances of Zuni Icosahedron. Yet, after the arrangement on stage, such as repetition, overlaps, speed, and the comparisons between quantities, the actions are able to demonstrate each person’s story.
