Lai Tat-wing

Lai Tat-wing, also known as Lai Tat Tat Wing, is an artist-in-residence at Zuni Icosahedron and an independent comic artist.

He has published over 20 comic works in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and France. His original comic character, Woody Woody Wood, has been featured in strips published in "Yellow Bus", "Ming Pao Weekly", "Oriental Daily", and "Metropop". His most recent comic work is "Wah Fu Estate Spiritual Steamed Buns".

In 2000, Lai was invited by The Japan Foundation and Taiwan to participate in local exhibitions and cultural exchange. In 2008 and 2011, he was invited twice to showcase his work at the Angoulême International Comics Festival in France. In 2018, his "The Pork Chops Inferno" was awarded the 12th International MANGA Award Silver Award by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Lai has also co-directed "The Magic Flute", "The Magic Flute Playground", and "Bauhaus Manifesto", a series of acclaimed cartoon music theater works for children. Additionally, he was responsible for the comic strip and theatrical creation in "The Pork Chops Inferno" and "The Pork Chop Inferno - Chamber of Experience", as well as contributing comic creations to theatre productions such as the "13.67" series and "Hong Kong Ghost Comedy".
