Han Yan-ming is a seasoned martial arts advisor with over 30 years of experience in the performing arts. Born into a family of Peking opera artists, he trained under Zang Erpeng, the son of the legendary Gai Jiaotian. His early career highlights include a Class One Award at the Provincial Chinese Opera Showcase (1980) and the Critics’ Choice at the All China Traditional Theatre Television Grand Prix (1986).
Since relocating to Hong Kong in 1990, Han has worked with numerous acclaimed artists, including Law Ka-ying, Yuen Siu-fai, and Pei Yan-ling. He currently serves as a rehearsal master for the Hong Kong Chinese Artists Association and the Hong Kong Young Talent Opera Troupe, and is a private coach for many of Hong Kong's leading Cantonese opera performers.
