Graduated in 1991 at HKAPA and further received his master degree in 2015.
From 1990 he has been working as a sound designer in around 100 theatre productions.
He was awarded the best Sound Design in the 12th Hong Kong Drama Award in 2003, and in the 19th Hong Kong Dance Award in 2017
He started as a sound engineer at RTHK and later worked at Avon Studios. In 2008, he set up his own mastering studio. Until now, he mastered around 1000 titles of different genres of music.
For part-time teaching work, he has served at the School of Design in PolyU, HKAPA,HKDI and the Music Department in HKU since 2003. He also employed by Dolby Laboratories in 2008, and became a Dolby Sound Consultant after training in their UK headquarter in 2010.
In addition, he was one of the founders and advisors in Soundpocket, a sound art organisation, and from 2015, He has worked for HKADC as advisor and examiner in music, film, and media art categories.
