Benny Woo


Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Media Arts) degree from the RMIT University in Australia in 2005, Benny has won the Best Experimental Video award the same year. After returning to Hong Kong, he has worked across the fields of television broadcast, music video and multimedia theatre. In 2007 he joined cultural organisation Zuni Icosahedron and has worked on multimedia design for experimental stage performances including Flee by Night, Stage Sisters and One Hundred Years of Solitude 10.0 – Cultural Revolution. Noted for his distinctive manipulation of audio-visual relationships and narrative structures, his works have been showcased at numerous festivals across Australia, Canada, Venice, Singapore, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
